Royal House: 40-day memorial service for King Michael on January 13

The Royal Family informs that on Saturday, January 13, at the Old Episcopal and Royal Cathedral at the Curtea de Arges Monastery, will take place the 40-day memorial service since King Michael’s demise.

“The memorial service will be officiated by His Holiness Archbishop Calinic of Arges and Muscel and will take place in the Old Episcopal and Royal Cathedral at the Curtea de Arges Monastery. Then, a prayer will be given to the burial place of King Michael I at the New Archdiocesan and Royal Cathedral,” the Royal House informs.

His Holiness the Archbishop will be accompanied by a group of priests from the Curtea de Arges Monastery and the Eparchy. Also, a group of nuns from Pasărea Monastery and from Tigăneşti Monastery will attend the service, the quoted source also informs.

Only the Royal Family will have access to the memorial service at the burial place, but all who want to take part in the service are expected.
