Danone appoints Romanian as new general manager for Southeastern Europe division

Starting August 1st, Adrian Pascu takes over the General Manager position for dairy division in Southeastern Europe, running the management team for Danone Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, R.of Moldova and Adriatic countries. Pascu replaces Dieter Schulz who ends his three-year term and will take over new responsibilities within the group, reads a press release sent to our editorial office.

Thus,  Adrian Pascu is returning home after an experience of almost two years within Danone Russia, where he was sales manager for Moscow division. Before that, he held several sales positions inside Danone Romania, with the last position as commercial manager.

„I am glad to return to Romania after an international valuable experience. I know the team here very well, we have excellent professionals, I know the local particularities well and I am convinced Danone can go on contributing to the dynamic develpoment of the Romanian market, as it has constantly done it in the past 16 years. My priority is to boost Danone Romania’s position as strong leader on the yoghurt segment and to ensure its sustainable and profitable development,” Adrian Pascu told the press release.

Pascu is a Physics graduate of Iasi University, also holding a MBA ELITEC title. He began his business career in companies such as Henkel and Campofrio, while having an over 10-year experience within the Danone group.
