Lamborghini, Lancia and Ferrari are on the rare car brands list, new and second-hand, that Romanians have registered in the first 11 months of this year, according to the recent statistics of the Directorate for Driving License and Vehicle Registration (DRPCIV) released on Wednesday.
During January-November 2015 period, in the category of expensive cars, 3,264 new and used units were registered, up by 4.21 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, when 3,132 units were recorded.
Of the registered total, 14 units were represented by Ferrari, down by 17.65 percent compared with the first 11 months of 2014 when 17 units were recorded.
Also, there were five registrations of Lamborghini, up by 66.67 percent compared to the same period last year, while the number of Lancia units has reached 260, but down by 24.64 percent compared to 2014.
On the other hand, the number of Maserati registrations reached 28 units, from 25 recorded in January – November period of last year.
Other rare car brands registered increases in new and used registrations: smart (1,744 units, + 9.34 percent), Jaguar (215 units, + 41.38 percent), Alfa Romeo (808 units, + 4.12 percent ) and SsangYong (27 units, + 17.39 percent).
