UPDATE: Another Romanian sought after attack in Nice, according to SOS Nice

Another Romanian Stefan Valentin Barbu, aged 40, is sought after the attack in Nice, according to ‘SOS Nice’ Facebook page on Tuesday.

Stefan Valentin Barbu, aged 40, height 170 cm is the one missing.

Stefan Valentin Barbu would be the fourth missing person, as another missing family has been sought, the woman and the child were found, but the man, Cristian Coman, is still not found.

Another two Romanians reportedly missing on Monday are Alex Goldan and his wife Elena Condei, who would have been in the Promenade des Anglais area when the truck attack occurred. The 31-year-old man and his wife are gone missing after the last photos posted on their Facebook accounts show they were in Nice several days before the attack.

In a comment on Facebook, a young woman claims she would have seen Alex Goldan at the city’s July 14 celebrations. “I think I saw him attending the fireworks show, he was near Mercure Beach,” the woman wrote.

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told a press release that the authorities had not been notified over the two Romanians’ disappearance. “No phone requests or emails have been received regarding the above-mentioned people until now,” MAE says.

The ministry stated on Monday that following searches by the Romanian Embassy in Paris, the two Romanians, husband and wife, reportedely gone missing after the Nice attack, were not in that area when the attack occurred and they are not put on the spot of the French authorities.

On the other hand, the relatives of Coman family, whose two members were gone missing and later on discovered in hospitals, say that the mother and the boy have been found with the help of the social media networks and with the help of the community and not with the help of the Romanian diplomats in France, who would have waited for the community’s information.

Many Romanians living in France joined forces to find the Comans and eventually tracked down the 28-year-old mother, Adriana, and the 8-year-old boy in hospitals, while the father, 34yo Cristian Coman is still missing.

Information posted on Facebook reveal that they lived in Timisoara for some time, but they were based in Austria. They had come to spend their holiday in Nice.
