The second Hampton by Hilton unit in Romania, opened in Iasi

Hampton by Hilton brand opens its newest property in Iasi, the second Hampton by Hilton property to open in Romania. According to a press release, the 117-room Hampton by Hilton offers guests value-added amenities such as a free, hot breakfast featuring delicious waffles and seasonal offerings. Additionally, guests can take advantage its complimentary Wi-Fi, business centre and 24/7 workout facility – sure to set any guest on the right track.

“Located in the heart of the city’s business, entertainment and shopping districts, Hampton by Hilton Iasi is the ideal base for business and leisure guests alike,” said Anca Stecyk, General Manager Hampton by Hilton Iasi. “The team and I are excited to provide a warm welcome and stay for guests, as they explore the historical region of Moldavia.”

Located at Anastasie Panu Street, no 26, the new hotel is nestled amongst an array of museums, memorial houses, religious and historical monuments. Guests can explore the former ‘city of the hundred churches’ with over 100 Orthodox churches located in the nearby Golden Plateau.

The Roznoveanu Palace, Alexandra Bals House and the National Theatre are also within close proximity of the hotel. Beyond the great architecture, travellers can soak in the atmosphere at area botanical parks and Union Square, as well as, visiting the glistening modern shopping malls and overflowing eateries. Guests can also unwind from a busy day in the city at Romania’s largest SPA in the North-Eastern region, located just next door to the hotel.

But, after graduating from the Faculty of Letters – the University of Bucharest in 2004, my first job as a reporter at one of the leading newspapers in Romania changed my perspective. I have specialized in communication and communication campaigns, following the Master's courses at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies (FJSC), attending a BBC Communications scholarship.

In 2015, I had the opportunity to interview the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission Chief for Romania, Andrea Schaechter. As business journalist, I also had the opportunity to interview ministers for Economics and Commercial
Affairs offices within different embassies in Romania or officials of large companies investing on the domestic market.
After almost 15 years of journalism, I still want to explore new ways, to inform and stay updated. That’s why The Romania Journal project fits me so well.
Today I describe myself as a passionate about the history of world culture, having a PhD in Hebrew Culture and Civilization, after a scholarship at the University of Haifa International School, as a language addict, an environmental activist, pet lover and traveler.
